Fräulein Nette unterwegs

During the carriage ride, you can listen to an episode of the podcast Fräulein Nette unterwegs - Episode 2: Heckenkunst und Spökenkieker, Biohof Schulze-Schleppinghoff in Warendorf-Freckenhorst.

Fräulein Nette unterwegs is a project of Burg Hülshoff - Center for Literature and other partners. For the episodes, writer Karen Duve and mezzo-soprano Bettina Bruns rode in the footsteps of Annette von Droste-Hülshoff throughout Westphalia. In August 2021, they went from Hülshoff Castle to Bökerhof in East Westphalia. Droste-Hülshoff experienced her first successes - and embarrassments - there as a young poet. Karen Duve's novel "Fräulein Nette's Short Summer" tells the story. You can listen to the ride in five episodes of the podcast by Burg Hülshoff - Center for Literature.
