Against the background of changing (inner) cities and a transformation of public spaces, art must also be rethought in this context. While we looked at practical examples in the previous workshop [link], we are now venturing a look into the future and inviting constructive exchange: What role will art, artists play in urban (re)design processes in the future? Can artistic and cultural offerings be an alternative to the more economically oriented places of the past? Feel free to contribute your experience and expertise!
Note: While the workshop "Art in Public Space I" was dedicated to concrete projects from the present and the past, this part is about the theoretical superstructure. In the dialogue of this online campfire, we would like to consider what art can do today for a good tomorrow.
