Culture and tourism both address locals as well as guests. In addition, cultural offerings are an important part of the tourism portfolio of any tourist region. How do cultural practitioners and tourism professionals get into conversation with each other, what do both expect from each other, and what do they each have to offer?
In the online workshop, geographer and tourism consultant Dr. Kai Pagenkopf and marketing expert Birgit Lenter will work out together with the participants how to lay the foundations for a cultural-tourism network from which both sides can benefit. Good examples from practice will be used to discuss which factors lead a communicative process to success and which stakeholders should be involved.
