Münsterland Cultural Council

The Münsterland Cultural Council brings together around 50 representatives from various cultural sectors as well as from politics and administration.

One of the most important tasks of the Kulturrat Münsterland is to advise and recommend projects for financial support from the RKP - Regional Culture Programme NRW. The Münsterland Cultural Council is also the first point of contact for the regional council of the Münster administrative district for this topic and questions relating to cultural funding.

In addition, the Kulturrat Münsterland provides impetus in terms of content, takes a stand on cultural policy issues and lends weight to the cultural region as an interest group. Permanent guests are representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Science of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the Münster district government.
