Basic knowledge for cultural actors
Whether flyer or homepage, on paper or digitally on the internet - graphic design is the be-all and end-all of good advertising. It often determines the success of a project or event. This workshop offers an ideal introduction to the world of type design, image and layout programmes. You will learn what is important in the design and evaluation of graphic products and how you can achieve great effects with small (graphic) measures.

Target group
This event is aimed at all cultural actors who would like to design their own graphic advertising material or learn which criteria should be taken into account when designing and evaluating graphic products.
Important note: In the seminar, the lecturer will work with the current Adobe products InDesign and Photoshop. These programmes and the design basics will be explained with the help of a beamer.
Speaker
Gerd Schossow, only | design.text, graduate graphic designer, has worked in the printing and advertising industry since 1987. Self-employed since 2001, he and his colleague Katharina Schossow founded the design agency "nur | design.text" in 2007. The focus of the agency, which has a strong conceptual orientation, is on cooperation with cultural institutions such as cultural offices, museums, theatres, universities and schools. Core areas are corporate design developments, catalogues and programme brochures, websites, exhibition design and the design of print products of all kinds.
