The Regional Culture Programme NRW (RKP for short) is one of the most established and important cultural funding programmes in Münsterland and NRW. For over 25 years, it has supported artists and cultural practitioners in implementing their project ideas. The basis and orientation guide for this is the regional profile, also called the regional mission statement - which was revised for the Münsterland cultural region this year.
In this event, we would like to present the brand new mission statement to you and at the same time inform you about the RKP funding programme. What are the application criteria? How much funding can I apply for? What do I have to pay attention to when applying and what are the important deadlines? We will answer these and other questions together with Jan-Christoph Tonigs from the Münster district government.
The event is aimed at art and culture professionals from the Münsterland region who would like to find out more about the Regional Culture Programme NRW (RKP) and the new mission statement for the Münsterland region.
Jan-Christoph Tonigs has been head of culture at the Münster district government since February 2022. Since then, he has been finding his way through the undergrowth of the funding jungle - funding guidelines, target agreements and general ancillary provisions - and maintaining an exchange with the Ministry of Culture. With his many years of experience as a cultural manager and curator, he knows both sides of the funding business.
The Münsterland Cultural Office is the responsible coordination office for the state funding programme RKP - Regionales Kultur Programm NRW. It advises cultural associations, municipalities, institutions, private individuals and independent organisations in their search for financial support.
The event is free of charge. However, a binding registration is required. The number of participants is limited.
The rooms and toilets are barrier-free.
