With around 100,000 employees, the Federal Employment Agency (BA) is the largest social service provider of the federal government. The employees have expert knowledge of the labour and training market and advise people, companies, politicians and many other stakeholders. The BA supports many citizens with financial benefits such as unemployment benefit, child benefit or short-time working allowance. In this way, it helps to secure social peace in Germany. Trust and mutual respect are very important at the BA, which is why no distinction is made according to origin, age or gender. The BA makes it possible to reconcile family and work and provides support in the event of health restrictions.
