Finanz Informatik GmbH & Co. KG, with locations in Münster, Frankfurt and Hanover, is the IT service provider and digitalisation partner of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe and is significantly driving the banking of tomorrow. Every second person in Germany comes into contact with Finanz Informatik on a daily basis. As the central IT service provider and digitisation partner of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe, the company enables digital banking for around 50 million customers. They thus take over the service for more than 112 million bank accounts.
More than 152 billion technical transactions are carried out on their computers and systems every year. This makes the Finanz Informatik data centre operated in-house, with over 44,500 servers, one of the largest distributed banking data centres in the world. Its successfully developed Sparkassen app has over 26 million downloads and is the most successful banking app in Germany. In addition, the Finanz Informatik team deals with cyber security, big data and data analytics - among many other exciting topics.
