Lernen fördern e.V. Kreisverband Steinfurt with its group of companies employs over 1,000 people in the following areas:
- Education and participation: At seven locations, Lernen fördern e.V. promotes, trains and qualifies people with different support needs to participate independently and sustainably in work and social life.
- Kinderland: 20 day care centres provide education and care for over 1,500 children.
- Promoting learning - services: In the inclusion company in Emsdetten, Lernen fördern e.V. employs people with and without handicaps and provides professional industrial services for companies in the region.
- Open all-day school: Within the framework of the open all-day school, children are looked after in the afternoon after school hours. Around 800 girls and boys receive professional care and support there.
- Haus Martinus: People with a mental impairment and hearing loss live in the rehabilitative facility and receive professional care.
