The SRH University of Applied Sciences in North Rhine-Westphalia is part of the SRH University Network and operates three campuses in Hamm, Leverkusen and Münster. Around 850 students from over 25 nations study here. The university offers around 30 accredited German and English-language study programmes at Bachelor's and Master's level in the fields of management, social work, sustainability, economics, logistics, engineering, health and psychology. The university received the seal of approval from Germany's highest scientific body, the Science Council. It is institutionally re-accredited and state-recognised. The CORE principle (Competence Oriented Research and Education) was developed by SRH and awarded the Genius Loci Prize, the only institutional prize for excellent teaching in Germany, by the Stifterverband in 2018 as an innovative teaching and learning model.
