Cycling tour Landfahrer - Eight Pättkes to explore

Strengthen yourself in the centre of Nordkirchen and pick up your bikes there, which can be pre-booked on request. Then experience the castle community of Nordkirchen, for example on the Pättkestour Route No. 1. Take your time to discover the beauties of the magnificent Versailles as well as the three districts of Nordkirchen, Südkirchen and Capelle. In the evening, unwind in one of the many typical Westphalian restaurants in the centre of Nordkirchen.

After breakfast you can cycle, for example, on the Pättkestour Route No. 8 in the direction of Seppenrade to the Wolfsschlucht and then to the Rose Garden. In spring, the first of around 24,000 roses transform the garden into a sea of blossoms. The route then continues to the neighbouring town of Lüdinghausen. Here, the highlight of the day is Vischering Castle. Take your time and visit the castle's newly renovated museum. Lüdinghausen Castle is also close by. From there it is not far back to Nordkirchen.

On your last day, you will explore Nordkirchen on a guided tour of the town (extra charge), follow in the footsteps of J.C. Schlaun and discover some of the sights. Of course, you can also go on another great ride. For example, cycle on Pättkestour Route No. 3 to the Steverauen near Olfen. The picturesque landscape with its unique flora and fauna will delight you. The cycle path takes you in a wide curve via Selm back to Nordkirchen. Afterwards, you slowly say goodbye to the castle community.
