Picnic at castles and palaces
Lush green meadows, blossoming flowers, a few sculptures here and there as well as large, shady trees - the beautiful gardens and parks at the castles and palaces in Münsterland delight visitors. With the imposing buildings in the background, they are the perfect place for a picnic. Whether romantically as a couple, with friends or with the family. This way, a trip to the castle can be combined with a cosy outdoor meal.

Picnic events at castles and palaces
From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. the courtyard of Lüdinghausen Castle is transformed into a small gourmet market. cheese, bread, spices, fine meats, fish, tarte flambée and French specialities. French specialities will be on offer. Small snacks are snacks are served - as well as wines, beer and other drinks. Volunteers The "Friends of Lüdinghausen Castle" will be on hand on a voluntary basis. They offer interested guests a glimpse behind the the centuries-old façades of Lüdinghausen Castle.

Lüdinghausen Marketing and the market vendors invite you to a special evening market one day before Christmas Eve. At the "Christmas Special" there will also be mulled wine, punch and hot chocolate. Two large tents will be set up to protect the market from wind and weather.
