AFRA KANE
Afra Kane unfolds her own musical world with great emotional depth: the Italian-Nigerian pianist and singer combines jazz, soul, R&B and electronic textures to create a finely nuanced, cinematic sound of great expressiveness. Together with her band, she creates a multi-layered structure that oscillates between intimate fragility and rhythmic power - carried by complex harmonies, subtle grooves and an almost mystical sound aesthetic.
Afra Kane has developed an unmistakable musical signature based on her classical piano training, in which virtuosity and emotional immediacy meet. International stages from New York to Hong Kong mark her path as well as her releases: from the debut EP "Scorpio" (2019) to the multi-layered album "Hypersensitive" (2022) to "Could We Be Whole" (2024), which unfolds a barely tangible magic with expressive arrangements and the haunting presence of her voice.
