GANNA FEAT. LAURA ROBLES
Two extraordinary artists, two continents and a unique sound: GANNA, Ukrainian singer and composer, combines jazz, improvisation and Ukrainian folklore to create an intense soundscape between past and future. Together with Peruvian musician Laura Robles, a formative voice of the Afro-Peruvian music scene, she creates a rousing, transcultural dialog of archaic voices, pulsating rhythms and free improvisation - a rare, memorable concert experience.
GANNA's artistic work is closely linked to her biography: Based on Ukrainian folk songs, she explores musical memory, identity and cultural roots. In times of political upheaval, her music becomes a personal and artistic expression of belonging, loss and hope.
She sees "Utopia" (2025) as an imaginary space in which origin, present and future come together. As one of the most distinctive voices on the European jazz and world music scene, she combines musical research with artistic innovation and makes cultural heritage audible in a haunting way.
