Fantastic music, a great atmosphere, and many wonderful moments—the Münsterland Festival meets BurgJazz 2026 is now behind us. From the opening performance with GANNA feat. Laura Robles to the picnic concert with Jin Jim and the closing set by the Emil Brandqvist Trio, the enthusiasm for great and diverse jazz was palpable throughout the event at Vischering Castle. Here are a few highlights.

The guest country for the Münsterland Festival part 14 in fall 2027 has been announced! After the trip across the Iberian Peninsula in 2025, this time we will discover the diversity of our largest European neighbor: France.

Save the date: On the third weekend in June 2026, we will be presenting first-class jazz at Burg Vischering together with the Coesfeld district! Five intensive festival weeks with around 50 events at 35 venues throughout Münsterland lie behind us: Momi Maiga provided a thrilling finale in the sold-out hall at Burg Vischering.
In total, more than 4000 visitors experienced music, art and dialog from our host country Spain at the events. We are delighted with the positive response and would like to thank our sponsors, partners and, of course, our audience from the bottom of our hearts!
We take responsibility for the environment and resources and combine our European-oriented artistic concept with sustainable, collaborative and nature-loving action. To this end, we have developed a sustainability strategy with which we are reducing emissions in many areas.
As a visitor, you can also play your part, for example by carpooling or not printing your ticket.
The Münsterland Festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary! Since 2005, it has been bringing music, art and dialog from different European guest countries to the heart of Münsterland - initially annually, now biennially.
A reason to celebrate! Over the past few months, we have put our heart and soul into creating a very special edition: Look forward to a cultural journey of discovery across the Iberian peninsula with top-class concerts and exciting events.
