CLARA PEYA DUO ON OCTOBER 17 AT VISCHERING CASTLE

Poetic punk on the piano
The Catalan pianist Clara Peya describes her style as "punk-romantic" - a field of tension between tenderness and anger, poetry and protest. Peya, classically trained and well versed in jazz and new music, uses the piano as a mouthpiece for emotion and attitude.
Together with guitarist Santi Careta, they created an intense musical dialog that transcended genre boundaries and moved between jazz, pop, classical and experimental music. The duo's music became a direct form of communication - performative, uncomfortable and touching. The guests at Burg Vischering could look forward to a powerful duo experience full of expression at the Münsterland Festival.
Made possible by the Institut Ramon Llull, which promotes the Catalan language and culture.
