CAAMAÑO&AMEIXEIRAS ON OCTOBER 16 AT THE FARB

Spanish flair in a classical guise
The Münster Symphony Orchestra is a regular guest at the Münsterland Festival. The musicians are taking part for the eighth time - always with new ideas. This time, the ensemble is presenting Rimsky-Korsakov's Capriccio espagnol, which exudes Spanish flair with its sparkling orchestration, as well as de Falla's El amor brujo, which takes you into the mysterious world of flamenco, and Bizet's Carmen Suites, which bring the famous opera to life with rousing melodies.
On the stage of the Gescher Theater and Concert Hall, the ensemble showed just how versatile orchestral sound can be: sometimes powerful and monumental, sometimes delicate and chamber music-like. A program that whets the appetite for classical music.
