By participating in the contest, the participant confirms that he or she agrees to these terms and conditions.
Participation in the contest and its conduct are governed by the following provisions:
1. Organizer, Participation
(1) The contest is organized by Münsterland e.V., Airportallee 1, 48268 Greven.
(2) By participating in the contest, participants agree to the terms and conditions.
(3) Participation must take place within the time limit specified in the contest post. The date and time of receipt by Münsterland e.V. will serve as proof of compliance with the time limit.
2. Participants
(1) All users aged 18 and older are eligible to participate. Employees of Münsterland e.V. and the participating contest partners are excluded from the contest.
(2) To participate in the contest, it is absolutely necessary that all personal information provided is accurate. Otherwise, exclusion may occur in accordance with Section 5.
(3) Each person is eligible to participate only once.
3. Prizes
(1) Cash payment of the prizes is not permitted. Prizes are non-transferable.
(2) Münsterland e.V. will select the winners of the contest from among all participants. Winners will be determined by random drawing.
(3) The winners will be notified by Münsterland e.V. via email on July 7, 2026.
(4) If a winner does not provide the necessary information to claim the prize within 24 hours of receiving the prize notification, the right to the prize shall be forfeited.
5. Early Termination of the Contest and Exclusion from Participation
(1) Münsterland e.V. reserves the right to suspend or terminate the contest at any time without prior notice and without stating reasons. Münsterland e.V. will exercise this right in particular if the scheduled course of the contest is disrupted or impeded, such as in the event of hacker attacks on the website, for technical reasons (e.g., viruses in the computer system, tampering, or errors in the hardware and/or software), or for legal reasons, if the proper conduct of the contest cannot be guaranteed.
(2) Münsterland e.V. reserves the right to exclude participants from the contest in the event of a violation of the terms and conditions of participation or in the event of attempts to improperly influence the conduct of the contest, for example, by using straw men.
(3) Persons who use unauthorized aids or otherwise gain an advantage through manipulation will also be excluded. In such cases, prizes may be revoked and reclaimed retroactively if necessary.
(4) Anyone who provides false personal information will also be excluded.
7. Liability of
Notwithstanding other statutory requirements for claims, the following exclusions and limitations of liability apply to Münsterland e.V.’s liability for damages. Münsterland e.V. bears unlimited liability to the extent that the cause of the damage is based on willful misconduct or gross negligence. Furthermore, Münsterland e.V. is liable for the slightly negligent breach of material obligations, the breach of which jeopardizes the achievement of the purpose of the contract, or for the breach of obligations whose fulfillment is essential for the proper conduct of the sweepstakes and on whose compliance the contracting parties regularly rely. In this case, however, Münsterland e.V. is liable only for foreseeable damages typical for this type of contract. Münsterland e.V. is not liable for the slightly negligent breach of obligations other than those mentioned in the preceding sentences. The foregoing limitations of liability do not apply in cases of injury to life, limb, or health; for defects arising from guarantees of quality regarding a product’s characteristics; or in cases of defects fraudulently concealed. Liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected. To the extent that Münsterland e.V.’s liability is excluded or limited, this also applies to the personal liability of Münsterland e.V.’s employees, representatives, and vicarious agents.
8. Data Protection
(1) To participate in the contest, it is essential to submit data upon entry and to accept the applicable privacy policy. All participants are free at any time to withdraw from participation by sending an email to gewinnspiel@muensterland.com. Such a withdrawal automatically terminates participation in the contest.

(2) The data entered by participants will be stored exclusively for the purpose of conducting the contest and related public relations activities and will be deleted once this purpose has been fulfilled. The data will not be transferred to third parties or used for our own advertising purposes.
(3) Münsterland e.V. is authorized to use the winner’s name and place of residence for advertising and promotional purposes for a period of three months. With the winner’s consent, Münsterland e.V. is entitled to use images of the winner for advertising and promotional purposes.
(4) The legal basis for data processing is the declaration of consent provided upon participation in the questionnaire and the contest (Art. 9 GDPR).
(5) You have the right to access the personal data concerning you (Art. 15 GDPR). You may also request the rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR). Furthermore, under certain conditions, you have the right to erasure of data (Art. 17 GDPR), the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), and the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You have the right to withdraw your consent for future processing (Art. 7(3) GDPR). In addition, you may also have the right to object pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR in cases where processing is based on a legitimate interest. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data is not lawful.

9. Legal recourse is excluded. The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply exclusively. Should any individual provision of these Terms and Conditions of Participation become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The same applies in the event of any existing loophole in the provisions.
