Music in extraordinary places

Christophorus St.-Elisabeth-Stift

The Christophorus St.-Elisabeth-Stift is part of Christophorus Trägergesellschaft mbH and is a facility in the heart of Nottuln where living, care and social interaction come together. Full-time and short-term care, day care and supported living offer a diverse home environment – with a courtyard that becomes a stage for summer events: a sheltered space where older residents, families from the neighbourhood and external guests alike can gather. This intergenerational atmosphere makes the Stift a special venue – here, culture does not take place in a separate hall, but right at the heart of everyday life.

30.08. | Pop String Quartet

Doors open: 4.00 pm

Concert starts: 5.00 pm

‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ played on four strings. ‘Smoke on the Water’ performed with a bow. ‘Stairway to Heaven’ as you’ve never heard it before. For years, the Pop String Quartet from Detmold has been proving that the greatest hits of rock and pop history sound just as moving with two violins, a viola and a cello as they do with amplifiers and a wall of guitars.
