In Low German, “Bulten” means “small heap”. Seven passionate musicians from the Münsterland region – all of them professionals or semi-professionals from police and armed forces orchestras – have come together to form the “brass ensemble” Blechbulten and prove with every note that Bohemian-Moravian brass music can also sound Westphalian.
