Hof Hesselmann

Living culture

Hof Hesselmann in Münster-Mecklenbeck combines historical architecture with lively district culture. Originally a farm, the building ensemble was extensively renovated by volunteers and now serves as a modern community center.

At the center of the farm is the Tenne - a spacious event room with a characteristic wooden beam construction, modern ventilation and barrier-free access. It offers space for up to 100 people and is used for concerts, readings, exhibitions and private parties. Other rooms such as the fireplace room, Upkammer and Modersohnzimmer complement the facilities for smaller groups and courses.

The outdoor facilities with old trees and a historic barn create an inviting atmosphere. An adjacent festival meadow serves as a venue for the annual shooting festival and the Easter bonfire. The car-free Kirchweg and nearby cycle paths and footpaths ensure good accessibility.

Hof Hesselmann is a lively meeting place for all generations and a central location for social life in Mecklenbeck.

Nine musicians from Münster and Osnabrück bring the full spectrum of Brazilian music to the stage: driving sambas from Rio, smooth bossa nova, MPB (Música Popular Brasileira), funk samba from Bahia, the rhythms of the capoeira martial art, and a dash of the Caribbean thrown in.
