Kloster Mariengarden
In the western Münsterland region, nestled within the rural landscape of the district of Borken, stands the Mariengarden Monastery in Burlo – a place with a history stretching back almost 800 years: its monastic roots date back to 1245; later, Cistercians took up residence there, and from 1920 onwards, the Oblates of the Immaculate Virgin Mary, who continue to shape the monastery to this day. The Mariengarden Grammar School emerged from the Oblate seminary and is now based on the monastery grounds. The monastery buildings, church and garden form an ensemble where spiritual life, school and culture come together under one roof – an atmospheric setting for open-air concerts.

Every concert is different – that’s part of the concept.
