Yaro Quartett

When Vivaldi's „Four Seasons“ sound, hardly anyone remains unmoved. The Ukrainian-born Münster-based violinist Jaroslav Menzinsky brings his quartet to a place that fits perfectly: Alter Hof Herding in Coesfeld.

Menzinsky comes from a family of musicians – his parents are cellists at the National Theatre in Kyiv. He began playing violin at the age of five, later studied violin and pedagogy in Kyiv and Essen, was concertmaster of the second violins in the Philharmonie der Nationen under Justus Frantz and has performed in more than forty countries. For ten years he was concertmaster of the Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra of Graubünden.

For „Trompetenbaum und Geigenfeige“, his quartet will dedicate itself on 23 August to Antonio Vivaldi's four concerti from „The Four Seasons“ – spring, summer, autumn, winter, played in the baroque microcosm of a Westphalian courtyard. Classical music open-air, as it is meant to be.
