Change of venue: Concert on 26 July to take place in Warendorf

The concert featuring the saxophone quartet audio quattro, scheduled for 26 July 2026, cannot take place at Harkotten Castle as originally planned.

We are delighted to have found an equally atmospheric alternative venue: The concert will now take place in the garden of the classical-style town house at Klosterstraße 7 in Warendorf – a listed building constructed in 1812, renowned for its famous ‘Tapetensaal’ (Wallpaper Hall).

At 4 pm, the Warendorf Old Town Friends are hosting a guided tour of the historic house. An alternative venue is available in the event of bad weather.

Tickets already purchased remain valid. Anyone who does not wish to attend at the new venue can, of course, have the ticket price refunded.

Mozart, Bach, Brahms, Telemann – and then „Forrest Gump“ or a jazz standard afterwards: The saxophone quartet audio quattro from Ahaus has been proving since 2012 how versatile four saxophones can sound. Four amateur musicians with different professional backgrounds, but a shared ambition: to play pieces that all four enjoy.

Josef Rickers (soprano/alto) and Christoph Schley (tenor) bring many years of experience from the Wuppertal Police Music Corps. Jürgen Mönkediek (alto) is technical director at the WDR studio in Münster, Bernd Bußmann (baritone) a teacher at the vocational college in Ahaus. The quartet has performed at Essen's first „Salon“ as well as at church events and anniversaries.

At „Trompetenbaum und Geigenfeige“, audio quattro will perform on 26 July at Harkotten Castle. Four saxophones, a historic castle ensemble, a long summer afternoon – acoustic, refined and full of discoveries.
