FROM A LIFELONG DREAM TO A CLEAR MISSION

After completing her A-levels, Nadine trained as a hairdresser and, shortly afterwards, qualified as a master hairdresser. This was followed by a formative period on Fuerteventura, where she lived for several years and ran a traditional hairdressing salon.

In her day-to-day work, she increasingly noticed that many clients were struggling with skin and hair problems. Their skin was becoming increasingly sensitive, and their hair increasingly damaged. These observations led her to rethink her approach.

Back in the Münsterland region, she made a conscious decision to take a different path: in her salon, she wanted to work with carefully selected products whilst avoiding certain fragrances and additives. To this end, she trained as a natural hairdresser and, step by step, developed her own concept in which plant-based ingredients and carefully selected materials play a central role.

NR HAIRDESIGN: MORE THAN JUST A HAIRDRESSING SALON

Today, NR Hairdesign stands for a holistic approach to hairdressing. It’s not just about a new, personalised haircut, but about healthy hair, a healthy scalp and feeling better about your body.

The salon uses plant-based hair dyes as well as selected shampoos, hair care and make-up products containing ingredients such as chamomile, indigo and rhubarb root. When selecting products, the salon avoids certain synthetic fragrances and additives, provided this is clearly stated for the products in question.

As qualified scalp and hair growth specialists, they deliberately think outside the box: in addition to hair and the scalp, they also take into account health factors such as lifestyle, internal influences or possible causes within the body, in order to achieve long-term healthy results.

PEACE, TIME AND GENUINE ATTENTION

What many customers notice immediately is that this salon is different. No ringing telephones, no walk-in customers, no hectic rush. Instead, you can expect exclusive one-to-one support from a master hairdresser.

Nadine and Lydia deliberately take the time for a detailed consultation and genuine understanding: your scalp, hair and individual needs are analysed in detail in order to develop a personal, long-term path based on this - with the aim of making your hair and scalp healthier step by step.

FOUNDING WITH SUPPORT FROM THE MÜNSTERLAND

The path to self-employment began with a clear idea and the right support. During the concept phase, Nadine sought advice from the Borken district's business development agency. There she was made aware of a start-up grant, with whose support she founded her company in October 2019.

As a young entrepreneur, she faced major challenges early on due to the coronavirus pandemic. The start-up grant became an important source of support during this time: it gave her financial security and enabled her to continue working on her business together with a start-up coach.

This enabled her to continue developing NR Hairdesign despite the crisis and emerge stronger.

WHY NADINE IS MOTIVATED TO GO TO THE SALON EVERY DAY

What drives her is as simple as it is powerful: helping people achieve beautiful, healthy hair and a healthy scalp , in keeping with her slogan: ‘With the power of nature for healthy skin and hair’.

With NR Hairdesign, Nadine Röbbelen shows that forward-thinking entrepreneurship in the Münsterland region can take a different approach: one that is mindful and driven by genuine passion.
