Two bodies steer the work of Münsterland e.V.:
General Meeting
The general meeting convenes once a year. The members of Münsterland e.V. currently include around 180 companies, about 50 chambers, institutions and associations, around 30 private individuals as well as the city of Münster, the 65 towns and municipalities from the districts of Borken, Coesfeld, Steinfurt and Warendorf and some of Münsterland's neighbouring towns.
Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board is the most important body of the association. It essentially makes strategic decisions and appoints and supervises the Executive Board. It meets several times a year. The members of the Supervisory Board are:

Economic Development Conference
The Münsterland Economic Development Conference coordinates economic development activities in the region and develops strategies for further development in the Münsterland. Members include:

Kulturrat
The Münsterland Cultural Council advises and recommends funding projects for the Regional Cultural Programme (RKP) in Münsterland.
