Sustainability at Münsterland e.V.

The Münsterland region is on the way to achieving "Sustainable Destination" certification. A central element of the certification is the establishment of a partner network. Become a part of it!

Münsterland e.V. has developed binding sustainability guidelines in order to systematically anchor responsible behaviour in tourism and regional development.

Münsterland e.V. is involved in the City of Münster's Climate City Contract, thereby strengthening the link to the Münsterland's certification as a "Sustainable Destination".

Münsterland e.V. has set up a sustainability team made up of members from the various departments of the organisation. Find out here who is responsible for which tasks.

The Sustainability Advisory Board, which was established as part of the TourCert certification, accompanies the Münsterland on its way to becoming a sustainable travel destination and provides long-term impetus for sustainable developments in the region.

Resource-conserving, innovative and long-term approaches are a central cross-cutting theme in the work of Münsterland e.V. and are reflected in numerous economic, structural and regional development projects.
