Important note!

Dear visitors to our website, dear guests,

the Corona pandemic is causing massive restrictions on public life. We are all called upon to contain the spread of the virus as much as possible. Almost all events have been cancelled by the end of April, cultural and leisure facilities are closed until further notice, and further closures have occurred, for example in the retail trade, tourist information offices and restaurants. None of us can foresee how the situation will develop in the coming days, weeks and months.

The Münsterland e.V. team is working with all means to support the region in these difficult times. We continue to plan and develop concepts, strategies and events in order to be prepared for anything that may come in the future and to be there when public life slowly returns to normal. If you have any questions, suggestions or uncertainties, please do not hesitate to contact our team.

Information and support for tourism businesses can be found in the tourism network

Projects in the field of tourism

In the tourism sector, Münsterland e.V. oversees and coordinates projects that strengthen the quality of service and infrastructure in particular. These include the projects Tourism Academy, Tourism for All or the Münsterland Tour Planner.

Münsterland e. V. is also involved in the processing of data from the Münsterland tourism region (for example GEO data for tour planners or cycle planning maps) within the framework of "Open Data". We are also happy to make this data available to stakeholders in the region for the purpose of tourism promotion.

More information on this is available on a new e-platform for tourism professionals in the Münsterland.
