Living in the city

Münsterland - Living in the city

In addition to the lively city of Münster with its population of around 312,000, the four district towns of Borken, Coesfeld, Steinfurt and Warendorf each have a population of around 40,000, as do Rheine and Bocholt with their 80,000 inhabitants each.

In the cities of Münsterland, tradition and modernity often go hand in hand. In relation to the size of the cities, there are a lot of possibilities and a lot of cultivated, crazy or even alternative life in a compact space. Be it in terms of living, education, work or leisure. City dwellers in Münsterland appreciate the possibility of being in the countryside quickly and the often familiar and communal atmosphere despite the urbanity.
