A round of succession: Thementalk on business succession on 1 June

Joint project Gründergeist #Youngstarts Münsterland discusses communication with successors

A colleague becomes an employee, a senior's daughter becomes the boss, a former manager becomes an employee to be led: these situations call for tact and communication skills. Under the title "A Round of Succession - The Thementalk for Company Succession", the joint project Gründergeist #Youngstarts invites you to a talk round on the topic of "Communication in the Context of Company Succession" on 1 June (Tuesday) from 5.30 pm. Exciting personalities will discuss more about self-employment and the takeover of an existing company. Interested parties can participate digitally and free of charge. The event will be streamed live from the Sasse distillery in Schöppingen and will take place in cooperation with the Münsterland-Siegel.

Three company successors and a communications expert will meet for a 90-minute exchange - at a distance and in compliance with the corona protection regulations - in the Sasse barrel warehouse, moderated by Andrea Hansen. The participants report on how they have dealt with the topic of communication and what they would do again and again (and what they would never do again).

The owner of the Sasse distillery and host of the evening, Rüdiger Sasse, will also be present. The distillery was first mentioned in a document in 1707, so Rüdiger Sasse is already the 15th generation to run the family business. As the successor, he knows best how to mediate within the family and especially between the generations.

Another member of the panel is Ralf Swetlik, managing director of Druckhaus Dülmen. He was managing director of a printing house for many years until he ventured into self-employment and took over an external printing house.

Patrick Lehr will also be on the podium. A long-time employee, Lehr took over the company Motorrad Bögel in Ibbenbüren. Thus, former colleagues and superiors suddenly became his employees. The successor will report on the importance of communication skills during the evening.

Monika Bone is the communication expert in the group. She will not only shed light on the different perspectives in the succession process, but will also explain why the success of a company succession is also influenced by the right communication.

At the event, the joint project cooperates with the Münsterland seal, which identifies products that can be proven to have been grown, harvested, produced or refined here. The products of the fine distillery also bear this seal. If you would like to test for yourself: the first 25 people to register will be sent a Sasse delicacy by the Münsterland seal.

More information and registration options are available at youngstarts-muensterland.com.

Behind the event is the joint project Gründergeist #Youngstarts Münsterland, which strengthens the start-up intensity in the Münsterland and opens up new start-up potential and target groups with target group-specific offers. The project is funded by the European Union and the NRW Ministry of Economics as part of the ERDF call "Regio.NRW".
Der Münsterland e.V. is implementing it as lead partner together with the following partners: Wirtschaftsförderung Kreis Coesfeld GmbH (wfc), Wirtschaftsförderung im Kreis Warendorf (gfw), Technologieförderung Münster GmbH, TAFH Münster GmbH, Wirtschaftsförderungs- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft Steinfurt mbH (WESt) and Wirtschaftsförderungsgesellschaft für den Kreis Borken mbH (WFG).
