Events in Heek

On 30 October 2026, Lissi & Herr Timpe will be performing at the Sport- und Kulturhalle in Heek.

Two hours of pure joie de vivre and positive, life-affirming hits from the 1920s to the 1970s, presented in a colourful and lavish production, featuring magic and dance interludes, numerous choreographed routines and the humorous interludes for which these two exceptional entertainers have been a favourite with audiences for over ten years.

In their show, Lissi & Herr Timpe, together with their ‘Guten Morgen Orchester’, not only perform the timeless classics from Marlene Dietrich and Heinz Rühmann to Marianne Rosenberg and Udo Jürgens, but also venture into exciting experiments: What would Nena’s ‘99 Luftballons’ sound like, for example, if she’d sung it alongside Frank Sinatra in Las Vegas?

With a glass of ‘Chianti wine’, the ‘Badewannentango’ is struck up even when, in the ‘honourable house’, the ‘handsome, poor gigolo’ cries out: ‘There’s one thing nobody can take from me, and that’s the sheer joy of life!’ – ‘The Most Beautiful Schlager Songs of All Time’ is a wonderfully entertaining evening, not just for schlager fans! For reminiscing, laughing and singing along…

Concert Hall at the Music Centre

​​To round off the intensive rehearsal days organised by the North Rhine-Westphalia Regional Association of Amateur Orchestras in Heek , the participants in the symphony orchestra seminar will perform Symphony No. 8 in C minor, Op. 65, by Dmitri Shostakovich, one of his most dramatic and profound works. The symphony, which was largely excluded from concert life in the USSR, is today regarded as one of the most significant symphonic works of the 20th century.
