On Sunday, 13 September 2026, the Schulze Beikel forest estate in Borken-Marbeck and the Association for the Promotion of Animal Breeding and Husbandry (VFTT) will be hosting the Day of Agriculture.
The event combines a trade fair and market to create a special experience for the whole family. Visitors can expect a varied day centred around modern and traditional agriculture - with regional exhibitors, farms, machinery, animals and lots of hands-on activities.
A special focus is placed on the dialogue between agriculture and society. Whether you are an expert audience or an interested consumer - there will be exciting insights, personal discussions and the opportunity to experience agriculture up close.
For children and families, there will be a varied supporting programme with games and activities. Regional products, culinary offerings and a lively market round off the day.
The Day of Agriculture is a meeting point for the region and highlights how diverse, innovative and future-orientated agriculture is today.
