Olfen's calendar of events has a few surprises in store. Time and again, renowned artists are drawn to the small town in the southern Münsterland. The audience then flocks to the town hall, the town centre or the natural outdoor pool, which exudes a unique atmosphere. Live music in a relaxed atmosphere is offered by the "Olfen Summer Specials".

Frieda Braun is a regular guest on WDR Ladies Night and has long since escaped the insider tip niche. She fills large halls and is now probably one of the most successful cabaret stage figures in the country.
And now the time has come again: the popular woman from Sauerland brings freshly experienced and freely invented things to the stage and presents her 9th solo programme with "Erst mal durchatmen".
As always, the jungle of human feelings and interpersonal relationships form the wildly proliferating terrain on which her stories shoot into the weeds.
Admission: 20.50 € (single ticket incl. fees).
Parking spaces are available free of charge.
These two go together like pot and lid, or - as Margie would say - ass on bucket! Margie Kinsky and Bill Mockridge are not only successful comedians, actors and book authors, but have also been a happy couple for 35 years with six handsome sons.
They are now grown up and out of the house. And now what?
Margie and Bill discover their new life together beyond the household routine and Lindenstraße, but this side of crossword puzzles and senior citizens' plates.
But even with two good-humour ambassadors, this doesn't always go off without friction, and so some dynamite is pre-programmed. It is not at all easy to reconcile two such different characters: Margie, the feisty Roman with the cheeky mouth, and the thoughtful, self-contained Bill with the mischievous side of his neck. In their hilarious and unsparing cabaret evening, the two show how this works. Bill on Margie: "My last will and testament: Scatter my ashes over the till at TK Maxx. Then I know that Margie will visit me at least once a day!". Margie about Bill: "I'm a Roman, I like to get upset. With his stoic calmness, the lumberjack sometimes drives me up the wall.
