Island picnic in Gescher

At the island picnic in Gescher from 18 to 21 June 2026, there are several ways to picnic. You can enjoy a special time-out on a small island (two to four people), you can picnic with the wandering nandus or you can picnic by the fish pond and watch the many fish. All the spots in the dreamlike alluvial forest surroundings are special and unique and can be booked for a two-hour time slot. For booked sites, the area is also available after the picnic for you to explore and linger. Registration with a time slot is necessary for planning purposes.
