You can look forward to a variety of performances – some funny, some thought-provoking, some completely mad. The evening will be hosted by Shanti, who’ll guide you through the programme. Rhede's unique evening market transforms the city centre into a summery backdrop: Rathausplatz will be transformed into a spacious gastro zone with beer garden seating, live lounge music and culinary offerings such as tarte flambée, fresh pasta, burgers, chips with toppings, coffee specialities, cakes and summery cocktails. Children will have their own arena with bouncy castles and outdoor games on the church forecourt, while lounge areas and acoustic music invite them to linger by the children's fountain.

 In summery weather, with cool drinks and a great atmosphere, Quartiersarbeit Rhede, in collaboration with the writers’ group “Der Rhede wert”, is hosting an open-air reading in the monastery garden. Humorous and light-hearted texts create a relaxed atmosphere and encourage conversation. The reading will also be accompanied by music from Theo and Lisa Albers.
