Finally, Coding da Vinci conquers the German West and comes to the Westphalia-Ruhr region in autumn. The organising team consisting of the LWL Industrial Museum, the OWL Cultural Office, Münsterland e.V. - Cultural Office and the Hartware MedienKunstVerein Dortmund is looking forward to versatile data sets, creative participants and, of course, forward-looking projects.
But even those who can't make it to the onboarding can contribute cultural data to the creative hackathon. We welcome all interested cultural institutions who would like to participate in Coding da Vinci Westphalia-Ruhr Region with open data and free content. They will be given the opportunity to present their data to the community of developers at the kick-off in the LWL Industrial Museum Zeche Zollern on 12-13 October 2019 and to work with them on ideas for new applications.
These will then be practically implemented in the following eight-week sprint phase. On 6 December 2019, all results will be presented to the public at the award ceremony. As before, we are looking forward to more enthusiasts and their data sets!

Coding da Vinci - The Culture Hackathon is funded in the Kultur Digital programme of the German Federal Cultural Foundation as a joint project of the German Digital Library, the Research and Competence Centre Digitisation Berlin (digiS), the Open Knowledge Foundation Germany and Wikimedia Germany.
