taNDem - The project
The cross-border taNDem project was aimed at German and Dutch artists and cultural practitioners. Whilst 15 projects were carried out in each of the first three years on the themes of ‘home’, ‘energy’ and ‘paradise’, there was a ‘taNDem gap year’ in 2021–2022.
taNDem gap year (2021–2022)
The focus of the gap year was on project development, knowledge exchange and networking. The project supports German and Dutch artists and cultural practitioners in developing their ideas using the taNDem toolkit and offers a range of content-based workshops. In addition, taNDem organised cross-border encounters through a series of in-person and online networking events.
taNDemPitch 2021
The taNDem gap year kicked off with two online pitch events on 19 and 21 April. Ideas for cross-border collaboration were presented to an expert jury in pitches lasting a maximum of five minutes. The focus was on developing German-Dutch collaboration and, in particular, on preparing a cross-border art project. During the online pitch, participants had to convince the jury what makes their idea so unique and why they should be awarded the taNDem Toolkit.
taNDem is aimed at artists, cultural associations and institutions, and other cultural stakeholders from the EUREGIO region. The Kulturbüro des Münsterland e.V. is a project partner and also provides a project manager responsible for content.
