Augmented Virtuality

Augmented Virtuality

Augmented virtuality, like augmented reality, belongs to the category of mixed reality. Information from the real world, for example objects or people, are integrated into a virtual world. These can then interact with the virtual world in real time. The combination of virtuality and reality in real time can be achieved with a wide variety of techniques, for example by integrating real players into a video game. Augmented virtuality is currently used only very sporadically.
