Plastic welding

Welding is used to join plastics such as PP, PVC or PE. The fusion of the respective joining partners, both of which are heated, creates a permanent bond. After cooling, chemical bonds exist between the individual parts. A distinction is made between the following processes according to the type of heat input: gas convection welding, heating element (butt) welding, infrared welding, (2-stage) laser welding, laser transmission welding, rotation friction welding, ultrasonic welding, vibration welding, hot gas welding, circular welding.
