Sustainability Council

As part of the TourCert certification of the Münsterland as a sustainable travel destination, a sustainability advisory board was set up. The committee is made up of representatives from various institutions, associations and organisations in the region.

The Sustainability Advisory Board not only accompanies the certification process, but also aims to further develop and strengthen the topic of sustainability in the Münsterland in the long term. The basis for this is the Territorial Strategy Concept, in which sustainability is anchored as a central future topic for the region.

Many members of the Advisory Board were already involved in the development of the Territorial Strategy Concept and therefore bring with them comprehensive technical expertise and a deep understanding of the region's strategic goals and developments. The Advisory Board is therefore ideally placed to provide sustainable impetus for the Münsterland and to further expand regional cooperation.
