NRW Day 2026: Discover the Münsterland

For many years, the organic wholemeal bakery cibaria has been synonymous with artisanal baked goods made from the finest organic ingredients. Whether it’s bread, rolls or sweet pastries – these bioregional specialities are available at weekly markets, in organic shops, farm shops and at their own café in Münster. You can try them for yourself at the Münsterland Market.

At the Maria Veen Ice Cream Lounge, people with and without disabilities work side by side. The homemade ice cream is made at the neighbouring Benediktushof using regional ingredients. At the Münsterland Market, the Ice Cream Lounge awaits you with its ice cream bike, offering a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of the festival.

The Emshof is an organically run educational farm on the banks of the Ems. Here, school classes, nursery groups and families can experience sustainable farming first-hand. At the Münsterland Market, the team will be sharing insights into their educational work.

Hidding Delicatessen is a family-run artisan business with a heart and a ethos. It uses meat sourced from local farmers to produce its meat specialities and modern delicatessen products, and is synonymous with quality from the Münsterland region.

The Demeter farm community in Entrup grows seasonal organic vegetables with the help of staff, volunteers and members of the association. The range is complemented by juices made from fruit grown in their own orchard. The produce is available at weekly markets, in the farm shop and at the Münsterland Market.

The Gerbermann grain distillery is now run by the fifth generation of the family. Using grain grown on their own farm and other regional ingredients, they produce high-quality grain spirits and liqueurs. A true taste of home, which you can also discover at the Münsterland Market.

At their Münsterlandmühle, Saskia Rauner and Markus Lindken produce 18 different types of cooking oil, as well as mustards and sauces, using bioregional ingredients. Gentle cold-pressing yields high-quality products with a full-bodied flavour. They showcase their specialities at the Münsterland Market and are happy to tell visitors more about their work.

For over 200 years, the Rolinck private brewery has been synonymous with the art of regional brewing in the Münsterland region. At the Münsterland Market, you can discover and enjoy the speciality beers from this long-established company. Also on offer is a naturally cloudy light lager brewed exclusively for North Rhine-Westphalia’s anniversary.

Stefan Naber runs a sustainable, circular farm with his flock of sheep. As well as high-quality organic lamb, the farm produces skins, wool and natural wool pellets for the garden. He sells his regional produce directly from the farm and at the Münsterland Market.

Organic vegetables have been grown at the Weidenhof for more than 20 years. The produce from the Tecklenburger Land region goes straight into customers’ vegetable boxes or to the farm shop. The Weidenhof brings fresh, home-grown organic vegetables to the Münsterland Market.

Under the BioPur brand – ‘Delight from Coesfeld’ – the Haus Hall workshops combine regional produce, quality and inclusion. At the Marienburg Coesfeld organic farm, people with and without disabilities work together to process the harvested fruit into juices and fruit spreads.
