Application deadline for Regional Culture Programme NRW on 30 September: Last chance for consultation appointments at the Münsterland Cultural Office

Financial support for cultural projects in Münsterland: this is possible with the "Regional Culture Programme NRW" (RKP), for which artists and cultural practitioners can still apply until 30 September. Since a consultation at the Münsterland e.V. cultural office is obligatory, interested parties should make an appointment as soon as possible.

"We advise applicants and their existing project ideas with regard to the fit with the programme and help them fill out the online form for the funding application," explains Andre Sebastian, head of the cultural office, adding: "The funding programme is one of the best ways to get money for your own project in Münsterland." In addition to a good idea, networking and cooperation are required for the application: a project needs at least three partners from at least two municipalities and cities. In addition to private individuals, creative clubs, associations, municipalities, institutions and independent organisations can also apply.

The basic rule is that projects and measures funded by the RKP must support the cultural profile of the cultural region. It identifies characteristics, features and contrasts that are typical of the Münsterland: e.g. the diverse cultural offerings of all genres, which often take place in unusual locations, or the tension between city and countryside.

In addition to the actual project application, so-called accessibility supplementary funds can also be applied for. Project-related measures that enable people with a disability to participate in cultural life can be subsidised with up to 5,000 euros per cultural project.
