Behind the farm scenes in Münsterland: BioWochen NRW invite you to numerous events
During the BioWochen NRW, everything revolves around food from organic farming. From 30 August to 14 September, farms throughout the state will be opening their doors. More than 20 events are on the programme in the Münsterland organic model region.
"So close, so valuable: the BioWochen show that quality grows right next door," says Juliane Rabe, project manager of the Münsterland eco-model region at Münsterland e.V. "You can discover what makes the organic farm or organic shop in your neighbourhood special."
The initiators of BioWochen NRW are the Landesvereinigung Ökologischer Landbau NRW e.V. and the NRW Chamber of Agriculture. The state-wide campaign is sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture and Consumer Protection of North Rhine-Westphalia.

Münsterland eco-model region
The four districts of Münsterland and the city of Münster work together with the NRW Chamber of Agriculture and the LEADER regions in the joint project "Öko-Modellregion Münsterland". Under the leadership of Münsterland e.V., the project aims to increase the proportion of bioregionally produced products in the fields, on supermarket shelves, on canteen plates and in shopping baskets. The project is funded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Consumer Protection of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
