Competent costing for cultural projects: Kulturakademie Münsterland gives tips on financial planning
No cultural project without a cost and financing plan: What sounds so simple often harbours typical pitfalls and mistakes in practice. The Kulturbüro des Münsterland e.V. offers useful tips on how to make a realistic calculation from the outset and not lose sight of the financial overview during the project: As part of its continuing education series Kulturakademie Münsterland, the team will be advising interested cultural professionals in an online seminar on 15 May (Thursday) from 6 to 8 pm in cooperation with the Bergisches Land cultural region.
The event provides practical knowledge on the precise calculation of project budgets and financing plans. It shows how costs can be recorded in a structured way, how funding can be sensibly planned and how income and expenditure can be realistically estimated. In addition to theoretical principles and concrete application examples, there will be room for individual questions and discussion of costing strategies in the cultural sector.
The speakers are Andre Sebastian and Lars Krolik from Kulturbüro Münsterland. Both have already applied for, realised and invoiced numerous projects and have many years of experience in the calculation of cultural projects, both as applicants and consultants.
The target group includes arts and culture professionals from the Münsterland and Bergisches Land regions who want to take a structured approach to their financial planning and keep a close eye on their financial controlling.
The number of participants is limited, registration is online at go.muensterland.com/kalkulieren. The registration deadline is 12 May.
