Fit for the future: workshop series supports the hospitality industry with sustainability and digitalisation
The challenges for the hospitality industry are and remain diverse. Münsterland e.V. and Münster Marketing are therefore offering a free webinar series together with the transformation coaches for the hospitality industry in NRW, based at DEHOGA Nordrhein-Westfalen e.V., IHK Nord Westfalen and DEHOGA Westfalen e.V.. Entitled "The hospitality industry of the future: sustainable, digital & successful!", it provides practical information for your own business. The first event will take place on Monday, 17 March at 2 pm.
"The general increase in demand for sustainable travel offers and upcoming legislative changes such as the upcoming EU directive on environmental advertising claims make this essential," says Michael Kösters, Head of Tourism at Münsterland e.V., on behalf of the initiators of the webinar series. The practice-orientated online workshops provide valuable ideas, concrete recommendations for action and information on legal requirements and available support services.
The seminar "Future-proof transformation in the hospitality industry - focus on sustainability & digitalisation" will kick things off. The seminar will explain what these topics mean in concrete terms for your own business, what legal challenges you face and how businesses can optimise their position in this regard.
AI is no longer just a trend, it is also revolutionising the hospitality industry. At "Artificial Intelligence in the Hospitality Industry - Trends, Opportunities & Practical Solutions", participants will learn which applications offer real added value and how they can increase their efficiency.
Accessibility means new target groups and better guest experiences. The seminar "Accessibility in the hospitality industry - inspiring guests, optimising accessibility" shows how to implement this legal requirement correctly, what it looks like in practice and where entrepreneurs can get support.
Sustainability is now more than just environmental protection. It also means cost savings. The webinar "Resource management in the hospitality industry - saving energy and costs sustainably" presents strategies for using resources more efficiently and making your own business more economical. From energy, water and waste management to more efficient shift planning, participants will gain an insight into successful models.
At "Digitalisation in the hospitality industry - increasing efficiency, inspiring guests", the organisers will show which digital solutions are really worthwhile, how businesses can use open data in tourism to increase their reach and optimise processes.
The best business will not be successful if nobody recognises it. The webinar "Successful public relations in the hospitality industry - visible, credible, sustainable!" shows how this can be achieved sustainably and the benefits of effective public relations work.
