Whether it's the lovingly run shop around the corner, the regional online shop or the local artisan: they all stand for the good life in Münsterland and need the support of the region, especially during this difficult time. That is why the regional management organisation Münsterland e.V. has launched the campaign "Dein Ja zum Münsterland" (Your Yes to Münsterland): it encourages Christmas shopping in Münsterland, whether locally or by mouse click, and puts the spotlight on the diverse regional offerings. The website www.regional-nicht-egal.de provides inspiration for Münsterland gift ideas, tips on regional online shops, delivery services and vouchers as well as information on special campaigns by the Münsterland municipalities.
"There are many ways to support local trade during the Corona pandemic. We want to promote this in order to keep our city centres vibrant and to secure the regional variety of offers. This is the only way for Münsterland to remain an attractive region that inspires local people as well as tourists and skilled workers. Because regional does matter," emphasises Dr. Kai Zwicker, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Münsterland e.V. The campaign is advertised digitally on various channels as well as through the many local partners, such as the city marketings and tourist information offices. The Münsterland seal, which identifies products and producers from the region, also supports the initiative.
"Münsterland is and remains energetic and resourceful, even in these so difficult times. It offers delivery services and shipping, creates contemplative shopping moments despite strict hygiene rules and designs creative gift ideas. The website www.regional-nicht-egal.de bundles all these initiatives as a platform and gives local people orientation for Christmas shopping," emphasises Klaus Ehling, board member of Münsterland e.V. "And it shows: there are so many great ideas and products from and in the region!"
On the website you can find, for example, the Münsterland-wide campaign "Give a Picnic as a Gift" with adventurously filled picnic boxes, culinary experiences of a special kind, Monopoly special editions from the region, special arts and crafts or Münsterland specialities. Münsterland e.V. also provides information about regional concept stores, farm shops or campaigns such as virtual Christmas markets and a mulled wine walk through Münster. Regional and local gift vouchers are also listed, as are delivery service portals of the municipalities.
The campaign thus ties in with the "Das Gute findet Innenstadt" campaign, with which a regional alliance - including Münsterland e.V. - promotes shopping in the local retail trade.
