New experience series for the region: "Blick ins Münsterland" starts
Experience the Münsterland from a very personal angle and discover unknown perspectives: With the new experience series "Blick ins Münsterland", Münsterland e.V. is now presenting various offers such as guided tours, cycle tours, mindfulness workshops or painting courses in the region. The experiences are organised by people from the Münsterland who enjoy sharing their passion. Interested parties not only get to know the region individually, but also meet real Münsterland connoisseurs. Four different offers are available at the start of the series - more will follow over the course of the year.
"With 'Blick ins Münsterland', we are showing tourists, day visitors and locals the region in a personalised way. Passionate people from Münsterland show what THE GOOD LIFE can look like," says Michael Kösters, Head of Tourism at Münsterland e.V. The offers contribute to value creation because they attract tourists and day visitors to the region and various industries benefit from them.
Four offers are available at the start. Julia Schmalstieg, for example, is offering painting courses in Münster under the motto "Brush and Prosecco". She has been an enthusiastic artist from an early age and shares her passion for art in her studio in Münster's southern neighbourhood. Through her artistic lens, she shows participants the beauty of the region and helps them to paint their own picture of Münsterland.
Janina Budde's programme invites you to take a break from everyday life. "Stallruhe - Gemeinsam schweigen" in Haltern am See is just right for those who want to find moments of inner peace with the serenity of horses. She runs the traditional Budde riding centre in Haltern with a special blend of passion, mindfulness and a connection to nature and the region.
Julius Pellengahr-Gröblinghoff in Oelde shows how tradition and modernity come together in Haus Geist under the title "Between farm and moated castle - Haus Geist very close". He grew up on the historic estate and guides visitors around the moated castle through the old cellar vaults, the horse muesli production and to other places worth seeing. There is also coffee and fresh cake.
The Münsterland is a cycling region. Jutta Hausmann knows this only too well. She has lived in Münster for many decades and knows the region like the back of her hand. With "Leeze, Korn & Pumpernickel - entertaining cycle tour with enjoyable breaks", she offers a culinary experience over 25 to 30 kilometres. The route runs at a moderate speed through the Münster region.
"We are delighted to have such a variety of experiences in the programme right from the start of 'Blick ins Münsterland'. This allows guests and locals alike to discover the region from a new perspective, even if they already know the Münsterland region," says Kösters.
