Organising more sustainably: Kulturakademie and Tourismusakademie Münsterland invite you to a practical seminar
Whether open-air concerts, city festivals or readings - the question of how events can be planned and implemented more sustainably is becoming increasingly important in culture and tourism. This is why the Kulturakademie and the Tourismusakademie des Münsterland e.V. are jointly organising the seminar: "Planning sustainable events". It will take place on Wednesday, 22 April, from 10 am to 2 pm in the Bürgerhaus Saerbeck, Ferrieres-Straße 12. The seminar is aimed at those involved in culture and tourism.
Dr Kai Pagenkopf, a graduate geographer and landscape ecologist, will provide practical tips on ecological aspects such as the choice of venue, mobility and accessibility, energy supply, waste avoidance and catering. In addition to ecological aspects, he also includes the economic and social levels of sustainability, such as accessibility, inclusion and the conscious use of materials and resources.
Using practical examples, the seminar shows how measures can be implemented step by step and encourages organisers to see sustainability as a natural part of good events. Existing guidelines and checklists serve as an orientation aid for your own practice.
Participation costs 25 euros. Registration is required by Wednesday, 15 April. Further information and the opportunity to register can be found at: go.muensterland.com/nachhaltigeevents
