Raising the profile of events: the Münsterland Cultural Academy outlines ways to increase digital reach
Digital visibility is a key factor in the success of events. One useful tool for this is the Münsterland Data Portal, where events can be listed and promoted to a wide audience. The Kulturbüro des Münsterland e.V. demonstrates how this works in a concise online training session. The seminar will take place as part of the Kulturakademie Münsterland continuing education series on Tuesday 15 September, from 3 pm to 4 pm.
The training session provides practical guidance on how to manage cultural events within the data portal and through which channels they are subsequently promoted. It also introduces a way to embed events directly on your own website, ensuring content remains up to date and avoiding the need for duplicate data entry.
The format is suitable both as an introduction and as a refresher for existing processes. It is aimed at cultural practitioners who wish to strengthen their own event communication, simplify processes and specifically increase the reach of cultural offerings. The seminar is particularly useful for those who are new to using the Münsterland data portal or who wish to streamline existing processes.
The speakers, Laura Finke and Charlotte Seick, are responsible at Münsterland e.V. for open data, tourism data management and the ‘Tourism Data Intelligence Initiative NRW’, and work with numerous digital applications that are also relevant to the cultural sector.
Participation is free of charge; the registration deadline is Tuesday, 8 September. Further information and the registration form can be found at:
