Further training for strong cultural professionals: The annual programme of the Kulturakademie Münsterland 2026 provides sound practical knowledge
Fit in all important topics relating to culture: this is the aim of the Kulturakademie Münsterland training series organised by the Kulturbüro beim Münsterland e.V. A wide range of workshops and seminars offer cultural professionals extensive information and practical tips. The programme for 2026 is available at www.muensterland.com/kulturakademie, where you can also register now. Further events will be added in the course of the year.
"As usual, our programme is geared towards the needs of cultural professionals. We try to cover as many topics as possible," explains Andre Sebastian, Head of the Münsterland Cultural Office, adding: "Our target groups are professional artists, cultural volunteers and representatives from large and small cultural institutions, cultural administration and cultural policy - with and without prior knowledge."
Seven dates from March to November have been planned so far. They will start on 19 March with the topic of cultural funding: participants will be given an overview of the most important funding opportunities in NRW - from municipal and regional programmes to state-wide offers. There will be a special focus on the RKP - Regional Culture Programme NRW. There are also tips on the typical application procedures.
Two seminars deal with the social media platform Instagram: While the first event is aimed at beginners and provides an overview of the most important functions and formats of Instagram, the second focuses on strategic storytelling and professional content design in the cultural sector.
Other topics include planning sustainable events in culture and tourism, generative AI and its application in art and culture as well as dealing with extreme right-wing and right-wing populist positions in the cultural sector. In addition, an online seminar will provide information on various innovations in the RKP - Regional Culture Programme NRW in the summer, just in time for the application deadline.
"All events are very affordable and some are even completely free of charge," says Andre Sebastian. Information on content and registration is available online at www.muensterland.com/kulturakademie
